Nestled in the fringes of Potong Pasir and the up-and-coming Bidadari town, Park Colonial is just a few minutes away from the central business district. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72825"] Getting about: Besides the convenience of having an MRT station right at its doorstep, the condominium is also situated close to major expressways such as the PIE and CTE. Buses located just outside the property reach all areas of Singapore including places like Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Shenton Way, Geylang, Clementi and East Coast. Shopping and food: Nearby malls include The Venue Shoppes (15 mins walk) as well as NEX (20 mins walk) located next to Serangoon MRT. The yet-to-be-built Market Square, set to be beside Woodleigh MRT, will also consist of community and commercial facilities. For food options, renowned Chomp Chomp Food Centre is just a 7-minute drive away. Nearby schools: Park Colonial is also within an education cluster. Primary schools located within a 1-km radius include Maris Stella High School (Primary) and St Andrew Junior School. Cedar Primary School is approximately a 6-min drive away. Secondary schools within a 5-minute drive include Maris Stella High, Cedar Girls’ Secondary School and St Gabriel’s Secondary School. There are also a few international schools nearby, including Stamford American International School located just opposite the condominium.

Floor plans and interiors

The prime location is not the only thing to shout about; the apartments interiors have plenty to offer too. The kitchens for instance are equipped with appliances from Bosch and Whirlpool, while sanitary fittings and hardware come from luxury brands like Roca and Grohe. Communal spaces in the larger apartments come complete with an elegant marble flooring and the bedrooms are covered in solid timber. There are 11 apartment types, ranging from 1-bedder studios to 5-bedroom luxury units. To get you inspired, we’ve put together a few design ideas that can work with the layouts at Park Colonial:

1-Bedroom

[gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72814"] Design: Design NEU The TV wall here serves as a privacy screen, blocking the view from the entrance into the main communal spaces. For an al fresco dining experience right in the comfort of your home, make use of the balcony space in your Park Colonial apartment and transform it into your main eating area. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72813"] Design: Fatema Design Studio Glass walls help to segregate the different zones in this master en suite, creating clear divisions without obstructing light or the sense of space.

2-Bedroom

[gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72816"] Design: Third Avenue Studio Not for the faint-hearted, a transparent en suite speaks of romance and luxury. Complete the look of a hotel suite with a built-in TV console, a bay window and a full-height suede headboard. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72815"] Design: Third Avenue Studio Short on storage space? Consider surrounding your bed with extra compartments and cubby holes.

3-Bedroom

[gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72818"] Design: Zidane Design Associates A sliding glass door keeps the fumes and grease from the wet kitchen away from the rest of the home, which is necessary if you cook Asian style meals often. The glass doesn't block out the natural light from coming in, helping the small cooking space look brighter. To create a cohesive look between your wet and dry kitchens, make sure you’re using a similar finish for your cabinets. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72817"] Design: The Orange Cube If you can afford to sacrifice a bedroom, turn it into a luxury walk-in closet. An open wardrobe isn’t for everybody, but it’s a good choice if you don’t want extra doors taking up precious floor estate. Also, consider doubling the space as your study area to make the most of the room.

4-Bedroom

[gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72819"] Design: Zidane Design Associates You don’t have to follow convention by placing a TV right in the living room. If you host often, consider placing your TV in one of the other rooms and instead, create a living area conducive for mingling and socialising. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72820"] Design: Zidane Design Associates Your TV zone can end up in another room, complete with a large poufy leather sofa. The TV console here is mounted on the bay window, freeing up the floor space so that the room doesn’t feel overly cramped.

5-Bedroom

[gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72821"] Design: The Roomakers A floating cabinet design is a great choice for smaller kitchens. It lends an airy feel and helps to make the cooking zone look spacious. In this kitchen, the full-height cabinets create a boxy, seamless design that allows the space to appear less cluttered. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72822"] Design: UNO Interior His-and-her sinks and a generous shower area are what luxury bathrooms are made of. Build an enclosed shower area to keep bathtub splashes at bay. [gallery cstype="gallery_lightbox" columns="1" size="full" ids="72823"]
