A storage water heater is a domestic water heating appliance that uses a hot water storage tank to maximise heating capacity and provide instantaneous delivery of hot water. Compared to instant heater, storage heater is much bigger (usually in the form of a roundish cylinder) and is typically hidden in the false ceiling. Nevertheless, here is a simple infographic that shows some of the renovation and usage considerations that homeowners need to know before deciding on the type of water heater to install!
Additional Tip: Your lifestyle also determines the type of water heater that is suitable for you and your family. For instance, if you do not have the time to spare to pre-heat the water prior use, then a storage heater is not suitable for you.
