EVENT: 3 Things To Do at our next Meet The Designers

If you’ve been following our Facebook updates and blog, we’ve opened up RSVPs for our next Meet The Designers event. Here are the deets: Date: 2 September (Saturday) Time: From 11am to 6pm Location: Home-Fix & More showroom (18 Tampines industrial Crescent, Space@Tampines) Don't want to read the following chunk of information? Unlike our usual Meet The Designers (find out more about our past events here), what's interesting about our event this time around is that it will feature a couple of fringe activities happening alongside. So even if you are not looking for an interior designer or are just at a different stage of your renovation journey, there are still plenty of things for you to do there!  

1. Visit a one-stop shop for all your renovation needs

We chose Home-Fix & More for our event venue mainly because this showroom, unlike their usual DIY stores, is packed with a slew of features and services that we think you will find immensely useful in your renovation journey. Here, you will be able to see samples for kitchen surfaces from brands like Cosentino and KompacPlus, tinker with bathroom fixtures from Grohe, meddle with digital locks from Yale, as well as find perfect lighting solutions and wall coverings for your home — all in one space! Consultants will be on hand to address all your queries too. Whether you’ve engaged an interior designer, in the midst of getting one or heading down the DIY renovation route, this store will still meet your needs.  

2. Shop for beautiful and functional made-in-France furniture along the way

During our event, RSVP guests will be taken on a tour around French furniture brand Gautier's showroom. The company carries some of the most reasonably priced contemporary pieces — great if you're after a modern theme for your home but not willing to burst your budget. Gautier staff will introduce you to the history behind the brand while taking you through the different lifestyle spaces to show you how best to work in their furniture into your own home.  

3. Meet with our awesome interior design firms

The main highlight of our event is the Meet The Designers segment, where you will be able to meet our specially curated selection of designers in a casual and cosy space. Bring along your floor plan, and get your burning interior design questions answered by the professionals. There will be no hard-selling or dodgy renovation deals taking place, so feel free to engage our designers in a friendly conversation. All this is done in a non-intimidating, obligation-free setting! There will be eight interior design firms on that day. Speak to one, two or all of them – it’s entirely up to you.
