6 Space-saving Layout Ideas for Peranakan-inspired Freehold Condo Nyon @ 12 Amber

These real-life interiors below show you just how to make the most of your space if you have a unit like the ones at Nyon @ 12 Amber. This Peranakan-inspired freehold condominium was recently launched by award-winning developer Aurum Land last month. Located along Amber Road, an area known for its high-rise sea-view apartments, it features a stellar Eastside location with a walking-distance proximity to amenities as well as public transport. Here’s a closer look at the 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units on offer:  

1-Bedroom: Type A(m) (484 sqft)

Replacing the wall to bedroom and replacing it with glass bi-fold doors creates a more flexible space that feels less compressing. Close them when privacy is needed or leave them open to create the feel of a studio apartment. Studio living has never looked sexier. This idea involves sacrificing one of the bedrooms in your 3-bedroom unit, which is a worthwhile sacrifice if you’ve always wanted a dedicated walk-in wardrobe. In this design, the wardrobe features sliding modules that can be slid out via ceiling tracks when you need to reach for something in the closet and collapsed back when you’re done with it to create a neat and compact solution. 3-Bedroom: Type C3 (1,582 sqft)

There are two master bedrooms in this unit layout, including a junior master bedroom that features its own en-suite. To create a more multipurpose space, you can opt for a Murphy bed that can be stowed away when not in use so that the room can be used for other purposes such as a play area for kids, a home office or an exercise room for your yoga sessions.
