Got an HDB maisonette or thinking about snagging one? One feature that sets these rare housing types apart (they are no longer built since 1995) are those staircases. Not a common sight in homes in Singapore. If you are looking to up the take things up a notch, we’ve got ideas—think slides! lounging spaces!—that will take your home to a whole new level of cool.&nbsp;<h3>For plant parents:</h3>I'm really digging the idea of having a dedicated planter at the bottom of the staircase to bring in some life to the space. The whitewashed backdrop really makes those plants stand out. And those circular cut-outs for the pots?
