Desmond Ling, The Ambrosia

I had my place (The Ambrosia) renovated by Mr Roger. I just want to feedback that I am very happy and satisfied with Roger and Xiang Ling’s services. They gave very practical suggestions, were responsive and promptly resolve issues that cropped up along the way. Kudos to such a great team. Will definitely recommend to friends and families.

Liyin and myself (Malcolm) would like to take this opportunity to extend our eternal gratitude to our FineLine Interior Designer, Serene. The process of purchasing and designing a first-time home is never easy, especially when you read about the numerous horror stories of Singaporean designers who “never delivered”. However, we were unbelievably fortunate to have been able to speak with and work together with Serene. From the idea formulation process to the actual delivery of our house design, she was always meticulous and responsible. To be able to entrust Serene with the entire process, gave us a peace of mind which we never thought possible. I would highly recommend Serene as an ID to any homeowner. Apart from her attention to detail, she also displayed excellent communication skills throughout our time working together. This allowed the entire project to move along smoothly and delivered promptly, and even the occasional “hiccups” were handled amicably and professionally. Thank you Fineline, and Serene! After much sourcing decided to go with Fineline. Steve is patience even though I kept changing my mind. Initially, I wasn’t sure whether I could have an island in my odd shaped kitchen as I don’t want to compromise on the space. He kept encouraging me to go for it since I always wanted an island and I’m glad I did. I love how the kitchen turned out and received many compliments. As in any renovation, there is bound to have hiccup and he addresses them till now. Overall happy and satisfied with the end product and how my house turned out.

Livia, The Paterson Edge

We are glad that, unlike other IDs, Jayden respects our ideas by brainstorming ways to marry our ideas with his design. We are happy with his responsive service, great attitude, patience, and honesty. When working with him, we note he is constantly looking for ways to improve his draft designs shown to us without us asking for revised draft. He would also note how we like certain designs or items at certain places and he would incorporate them in his design of our place for us. You can see his attention to detail and desire to do a good job for you when you look at small details like showcasing gold trim laminate at borders of the door handle of the walk-in cabinet. Overall, he’s a good designer to work with for your dream home.

Alvin Tan, Serangoon

Aki from Fineline was able to understand the direction and concept my Mrs and I were after. We bought a resale mansionette which we were prepared in overhauling. He won us over with his proposals including space planning, materials, overall concept and design. I like being involved and Aki was very open in collaborating each step of the way. We were kept posted on progress on a daily basis. Alternatives and options were always provided for by Aki for our consideration and I would say that he proved his mettle as we proceeded with a number of his ideas. Changes were also accommodated. Fineline provided their services for all aspects of our house to home transformation. Masonry and flooring, carpentry, electrical, piping, windows, designing, and project management. Aki’s biggest traits are patience and being accommodating. We are currently in the last phases of rectification. Budget 15% overrun. The schedule was overrun due to some challenges in delays of approvals and materials.

Serene was very friendly and helpful from the very beginning and we got along well, which was one of the main reasons why we decided to engage Fineline. She was always very responsive to our questions and requests. We had a tight deadline to complete our renovation and she assured us that she would be able to complete it within the timeline. The renovation went on smoothly and was completed within the agreed timeline. She also followed up afterwards to ensure everything was fine after we moved in. Needless to say, we were happy with the end results. We were very worried at first going through this for the first time, having heard so many horror renovation stories from others but she definitely made our renovation journey a pleasant one.

Lin Nan, Bukit Batok

The renovation took around 2 -3 months to complete. Designer William was patient, friendly, responsive and meticulous. He did design mockups for us and also accompanied us to shop for kitchen stuff. The whole experience is smooth and hassle-free. The final outcome is very close to the design mock-ups. It was a really pleasant experience. I would like to recommend William and his company Fineline design to other people.
