Missed our awesome Meet The Designers event? Here’s what went down (also announcing our lucky draw winner!)

Whoever said Sungei Kadut was ulu obviously didn’t come by the fifth edition of our Meet The Designers event, which took place on 15 July 2017. The event located at the west side of Singapore was a resounding success despite the far-flung location, and over 250 homeowners, armed with their floor plans, swung by to talk to our interior designers in the casual yet intimate setting. With brows furrowed, backs bent toward mood boards and impromptu drawings, the interaction between designers and homeowners was enrapturing to say the least. In line with our event’s policy, there were no jostling for clients or aggressive marketing of packages – scenes perhaps more familiar in expo design fairs – so the atmosphere remained stress- and oligation-free. A huge shoutout to the folks from Wihardja Furniture for being such lovely hosts and for lending us their gorgeous furniture showroom for the event. (Their beautiful teak furniture gave us serious resort vibes and totally had us wanting to revamp our own homes.) Also a huge thank you to the support from our homeowners, without which our event would not have been possible. We also wish to express our gratitude to our nine design firms, 9 Creation, Artisan Space, Fineline Design, I-Chapter, In Interior, Rezt & Relax Interior, Sky Creation, The Interior Lab, Urban Habitat Design for their professionalism, making the experience that much smoother. Special thanks also to our official logistics partner, TheLorry for being there to lend us support! The team also gave out a $50 voucher to the homeowners during the event, which can be used to offset part of the costs for engaging their movers.
