This Interactive Showroom Has Everything You Need for a Smart and Space-Savvy Home

Häfele’s showroom isn’t like most showrooms. The space isn’t just a display of their products, it is also immensely interactive. The showroom features various lifestyle settings that mirror real homes; there is a large walk-in wardrobe, life-sized and fully operational kitchens, a hob and hood station, and a wall that lets you fiddle with different digital locks.

The brand, which hails from Germany, has a wide range of products ranging from kitchen systems to lighting solutions, some of which are available for viewing (and interacting with) in the showroom.  

1. The kitchens are our playground

What we liked most about the showroom were the kitchen spaces that came in different themes and concepts. Instructional stickers, stamped on cupboards and shelves, asked that you “touch” this or “pull” that. And when you do, they often reveal themselves to be something unexpected. We opened closed doors, for instance, only to discover an entire kitchenette behind them. We flung open nearly every cupboard and shelf in those cooking spaces, particularly loving the tall shelves that help to maximise vertical spaces and pull-out units that make reaching out for everyday items that much easier.

The Dispensa 90 pantry pull-out system gives you more room for storage without taking up a lot of footprint. 

The Scala drawer features a soft-close system and a smooth sliding technology. They also come with customisable sliders in the woodgrain effect, so you can obtain the look that you want.

The FineLine MosaiQ drawer inserts make drawer organising that much more convenient.

2. The wardrobe systems made us feel like royals

The kitchens were certainly impressive. But it was the walk-in wardrobe and the smart systems within that had us plotting to convert our homes into a massive closet. We tugged on a shoe cabinet sitting inside a wardrobe, and realised it was fully rotational – all the better to store more shoes! Pulling open a drawer that we thought couldn’t give us any more surprises, we unfurled an ironing board.

 

3. Lighting solutions for every need

Häfele also has LED lighting systems (called Loox) that include a range of products for your lighting solutions. There are LED strips, which you can easily stick underneath top kitchen cabinets, adjustable reading lamps that come with USB chargers for your smart devices, interior cabinet lights that feature a wide-angle beam, and recessed mounted and surface mounted down lights. The lights can be installed via an easy plug and play system, which are colour coded for greater ease. The showroom allows you to play around with the lights so you can see how different colour temperatures and lighting intensities would look like. Häfele will also be introducing the Häfele Connect App at the end of the year. The app connects to the light systems via Bluetooth, giving you greater control over your lighting solutions with just a tap of your smart device. Adjust the light colours or temperature and group different lights together for a variety of settings to suit your mood.  

4. Get everything including the kitchen sink!

The showroom is truly a one-stop solution because you can get everything you need here. Häfele also displays a range of major kitchen appliances including sinks, hobs and hoods.

Complete your kitchen with their gorgeous and elegant chimney hoods that feature a smart TouchControl system and induction hobs that come with a heat and shock resistant ceramic glass top. 

And proving that they truly cover everything you need for your home, they've also got sliding door systems, digital locks and cupboard handles.

All their products come with different warranty periods, depending on what it is. However, they firmly believe in a lifetime service responsibility towards their customers so you don't have anything to worry about!
