The Tampines BTOs were one of the most oversubscribed projects in the February 2026 BTO sales launch. Tampines Nova is closer to Tampines Central, so it edges out in terms of convenience. You’re within walking distance to the trio of malls (Tampines Mall, Tampines 1, Century Square), as well as Our Tampines Hub, and it’s nearer to the MRT too.Here are some of the amenities within walking distance to Tampines Nova:&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1080/608;" src="https://d213h1b7vxzzl3.cloudfront.net/editor/63960bc5-246e-4e41-9bfd-8fea59c5fc25-blob" width="1080" height="608"></figure><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1080/608;" src="https://d213h1b7vxzzl3.cloudfront.net/editor/eb31a7e1-6a9a-4cfb-903c-e5e4e1c8eb46-blob" width="1080" height="608"></figure><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:1080/608;" src="https://d213h1b7vxzzl3.cloudfront.net/editor/cb27cbf2-5727-4e7d-aff8-91d7c999bcbd-blob" width="1080" height="608"></figure>&nbsp;Obviously, the biggest difference is that Tampines Nova is a Plus project, so it comes with more restrictions than Tampines Bliss, which is a Standard project. As a Plus project, there is a minimum occupation period (MOP) of 10 years, compared to Standard's 5-year MOP. You can read more about the classification differences on HDB's website <a href="https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/buying-a-flat/finding-a-flat/standard-plus-and-prime-housing-models">here</a>.&nbsp;In terms of flat types, Tampines Nova offers 2-room flats, which Tampines Bliss doesn’t. On the flip side, if you’re eyeing a 3-room flat, tough luck as only Tampines Bliss offers those. And if a faster completion matters to you, Tampines Bliss has the edge here as well, with an estimated completion date that’s at least three quarters earlier.Looking at the immediate surroundings, Tampines Nova is flanked by a DBSS development and several commercial sites, and sits directly next to an office building. It’s also just across the road from Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange (not to be confused with the main Tampines Bus Interchange). At the moment, it only runs one bus service, so it’s relatively quiet. There is a 7-11 just across the BTO though.&nbsp;Alternatively, you can walk slightly further about 14 minutes in total to reach Eastpoint Mall next to Simei MRT, which is the MRT station closest to Tampines Bliss by foot. There will also be an on-site eating house within the Tampines Bliss development.For primary schools within a 1km radius, Tampines Nova offers quite a few options, including Angsana Primary School, Gongshang Primary School, Junyuan Primary School, Poi Ching Primary School, St Hilda’s Primary School, Tampines North Primary School, and Tampines Primary School.As for Tampines Bliss, primary schools within 1km include Changkat Primary School, Chongzheng Primary School, Gongshang Primary School, Tampines Primary School, and Yumin Primary School.&nbsp;<h3>Best unit to choose at Tampines Nova</h3>Some of the stacks border the roads surrounding the BTO.
