Sandwiched between the CTE and an industrial park, Kim Keat Crest might not sound super sexy on paper. But there is a decent amount of amenities within walking distance, including a pretty buzzing hawker centre and wet market. In terms of public transport, you’re looking at about a 22-min walk to Toa Payoh MRT (or roughly 19 mins by bus).
