With a budget of $35,000, what is the extent of renovation that can be done?

Home renovation is one of the biggest and most expensive project that a newly wed couple embark upon. In fact, the most challenging aspect of any renovation project is to decide on the budget to set aside for the home renovation. So, how much does it really cost to renovate a HDB flat? Is it really possible to pull off a beautiful renovation with a budget of $35,000?

Thus, in order to find out the extent of renovation that can be achieved for a 4 room HDB flat, I have conducted a simple paper exercise with the estimated costs of the various renovation works. Kindly note that the actual cost of renovation will differ as the price really depends on the design, dimension, material, makes & country of origin.
