Carpentry work is expensive but the work is slow. Nothing to shout about since they use templates from Blum- yet charged extras for the smallest “customization” request. Carpentry is about customization. Otherwise, we would all go to IKEA.
Billing protocols… much to be desired. Project over-ran by 18 days… that’s acceptable, given that hiccups will be encountered. What I didn’t appreciate was that despite their delays, they still want to collect 95% of contract amount. Best check their invoices carefully as I personally spotted billing errors on my project.
Overall, the project came out decent. Not fab, not drab. But very slow. They take on more projects than they can chew. Other firms could have produced the same results; timelines would probably be better managed and more cost-effective.
