He put in the effort to understand our design preferences and lifestyle requirements and tailored the design accordingly. He was patient in answering any questions we had during and after the renovation. Workmanship and quality of materials used were both up to our expectations as well. We would highly recommend Alex and Inside Living.

Professional at start but didnt deliver the project from start to finish- delays, design compromise and sub standard quality and so much frustration on working with them. In the end there is no invoice or warranty provided.

Hi, I would like to share my experience with my ID as I had recently completed renovation for my 3 room resale HDB Unit. I had met up with a total of 10+ IDs and contractors. It was frustrating after meeting a handful of them realizing they are totally unprofessional until I stumbled upon friends’ recommendation about his ID (Jessie) from Inside Living, I was pleasantly pleased when I met her. As opposed to the rest of the IDs who came in pairs or even more, she turned up alone armed with a measuring tape and floor plan. I have one ID who showed up forgetting the floor plan. Most of the IDs I saw employed the “scare” tactic to hurry me into signing the dotted line. This ID is different and after reviewing the quotation, I had indicated that I am running a tight budget as the wet works/tiles and carpentry made up the bulk of the cost, she was able to offer me alternative solutions and I ended up not needing the pre-mix cement at all and I have dropped some of the items which did not affect the aesthetic element as much like screeding of kitchen wall and dropping the wall tiles and having wall tiles in my shower room only. I have come across more than one ID who suggested I take up renovation loans from the bank. This is a stark contrast to my ID who try to offer solutions and alternatives on what are the items that can be dropped to keep the cost within budget. While most people had concerns that a female ID may not have a good working relationship with the contractors, it was definitely not the case for her. As with any activity that requires coordination, occasional minor hiccups are expected but Jessie ensured that these were being fixed. I will not say the entire renovation is 100% flawless but the overall experience has been a positive one. She exhibited professionalism as evidenced by how she works; before renovations started, she gave my neighbours a heads up and assure my neighbours there will be rectification works should their units be affected due to renovations carried out in my unit. After my final inspection of the unit, I had requested for assistance to install things like doorbells, blinds etc. and also some minor rectifications needed and she was responsive enough to see them through. I can certainly attest that she is the best choice I had made. as she may be handling multiple projects, notice she may not be immediately responsive thru text message. I communicated with her using whatsapp most of the time and I will call her when it is urgent and requires immediate attention. I was glad I found her and I am happy with the renovation and I will be glad to share her contact.

I’d like to share my positive experience with Inside Living Pte Ltd. I was recommended by my friend to engage Alex Tai from Inside Living for my BTO renovation. I wanted a design that is out of the norm with rounded edges (with the thought of having a child-friendly design). He came up with the design quickly and patiently listened to my feedback on his 3D drawings through several appointments. He took my feedback into consideration and went through a few rounds of amendments before we finalise on the design I like. Through my appointments with him, he showed his experience in the choice of colours to match the look and feel I wanted. He brought me and my husband along to choose floor tiles, toilet and kitchen accessories and lightings. We had a good experience with the shops that he brought us to, where there is a wide variety to choose from and offered at a good price and also offer good after-sales service. He was able to recommend lights that are modern and also able to bring out the ambience. During the renovation, I requested on exact measurements on some of my carpentry and kitchen tops. Alex noted on my requirements and took the effort to check on the workers to ensure that the carpentry and kitchen top is done exactly to the measurements I wanted. With his experience, he was able to recommend designs that are lively (the look & feel I wanted) and also ensure it's easy to maintain. He helped to check on the finishing to ensure the workmanship is up to expectations and I am happy with the final workmanship and the prompt service provided. His workers did a good job to clean up the house prior to handing over the house keys to us, this really helped cos we need not spend too much effort to clean the house prior to moving in. His workers were also polite and ensured that their works are up to standards and we were satisfied. My friends and family also commented that the workmanship of my renovation is well done. I would highly recommend Alex from Inside Living for renovation as he ensures expectations are met with quality work delivered. He has also been patient and responsive to my queries throughout the renovation period and even after renovation.

We were fortunate to have Alex Tai to design and co-ordination all the renovation works with his group of contractors. Alex is a friendly and responsible guy and leave us no worries throughout the whole renovation. I would strongly recommend Inside Living if u want a worry free renovation! I received 5 quotes in Mar 16 and chose Inside Living for their price, friendly service and good reviews. Was serviced by ID Jayden Leong and he is a patient and responsible ID. He listened to my needs and tried many ideas to suit my fengshui requirement. He is responsible and even answered my calls on some Sundays and gave me advice when I was looking for furniture. He also helped me liase with condo management for defects. Overall, he made my renovation an easy and relief one. Not to mention we became friends after this encounter.
